Two-time US champion(2019, 2018), second place 2017 US championships, second place 2016 NCAA Championships. Indoors: two-time US pentathlon champion (2018, 2017), second pentathlon at 2014 US Indoor Championships, pentathlon champion 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships, second in pentathlon at 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships, US long jump champion (2017), third place US Olympic Trials 2021. Contested the World Championships in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 with a highest placing of fourth (2019). Placed fifth in the pentathlon at the World Indoor Championships of 2018.

Tokyo will be Erica’s first Olympic Games. In high school, she competed in track and field and played on the basketball team. During her 2015 outdoor season at Mississippi State, she was named to the Bowerman Trophy Watch List. (The Bowerman Trophy is awarded annually to the nation’s finest American collegiate track and field athlete).

Erica finished 9th in the women’s heptathlon at the Tokyo Games, with a final score of 5499 points.
