Tokyo will be Megan’s fourth Olympics. Her bronze medal in the quad in 2012 was the first in history for a US team in that event. Following the Tokyo Games, she is planning on retiring from competitive rowing and will live in San Diego, CA. Megan was named the 2014 and 2015 USRowing Athlete of the year. She began rowing as a sophomore walk-on at the University of Washington in the autumn of 2002.

Megan finished 10th overall in the women’s pair at the Tokyo Games, along with USA teammate Tracy Eisser (NYAC). The pair finished 4th in the “B Final” in a time of 7:02.16 to secure the 10th place overall finish.
