Tokyo will be Morgan’s first Olympics. He began competing in triathlon in earnest in 2018, after becoming the 2017 men’s 20-24 age group national champion in his first triathlon ever. He ran cross country in college, where he was a seven-time All American, and was introduced to triathlon following college through USA Triathlon’s Collegiate Recruitment Program. In high school, Morgan swam and ran competitively and was the NJ state champion in 3200m.

Morgan finished 42nd overall in the men’s triathlon at the Tokyo Games, with a time of 1:52:05. Also, Morgan and his teammates, Katie Zaferes (NYAC), Taylor Knibb (NYAC), and Kevin McDowell, secured a silver medal for Team USA in Tokyo with an overall time of 1:23:55 in the Mixed Relay.
